All hypnotists have little customs “which work.” They seldom know the origin of these items and usually cannot modify them reliably for new situations. For example – Why do fractionation just three times? Why should eye closure tests precede other actions? Why are certain words almost always used on emergence? The seminar will begin with the observation that most hypnotists learn their “patter” from “scripts,” or from classes given by other hypnotists, or from reading and observing videos of others.
